Saving the Republic by Restoring States' Rights

Preserving life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (including property rights)

Over the course of many decades, the Supreme Court and Federal Courts have utilized rulings on the commerce clause, the general welfare clause, and the necessary and proper clause to push more and more power to the federal government while diminishing the rights and authority of the states in the union.  If we are to save the Republic, we must restore the balance of power between the federal government and the states.

Freedom First, Last, and Always

Freedom First, Last, and Always

We must keep freedom first, last, and always on our public agenda.  The first act of We the People was protection of our freedom through ratification of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.  The last test of any law or act of government must be whether it protects or diminishes those constitutionally protected freedoms.  The goal of every American must always be the preservation of our protected freedoms through careful control and
management of the power and reach of our government.

American Eagle

When We the People believe our country and our government have drifted off course and are usurping our God-given rights, we have a direct responsibility to rise up and restore our liberties. We do so by getting involved in politics and voting in elected representatives committed to bringing America back on course, even if it requires Constitutional Amendments. We have a great need to do so today.

The Right to Bear Arms

The Second Amendment

The freedoms achieved through the U.S. Constitution and the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights are not without a price.  Freedom is not free.  It has never been free.  Freedom must always be bought and maintained with blood, sweat, tears, sacrifice, commitment, and the ultimate sacrifice, the lives of patriots.  This brings us to the Second Amendment, the Right to Bear Arms.
